Who we are
Geek Taskers Delivery (“Geek Taskers,” “we,” “us”) provides cargo van delivery across Metro Atlanta. You can reach us at support@geektaskers.com, (404) 897-8558, or 8735 Dunwoody Place, Suite 10525, Atlanta, GA 30350.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us to quote and complete a delivery, including:
- Name, email address, and mobile phone number
- Pickup and drop-off addresses, and notes about the item
- Payment details processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
- Booking status, proof of delivery photos, and live location while a job is in progress
- Support messages you send through our site
How we use it
We use this information to price and dispatch jobs, collect payment, send booking updates you opted into, prevent fraud, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile numbers and text messages
If you opt in on a booking form, we may text the mobile number you provided with transactional booking updates (confirmation, driver assigned, en route, arrival, and delivery).
We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Drivers and dispatch see a number only as needed to complete your job.
Message frequency varies. A typical delivery includes a small number of status texts — often between two and eight messages for that booking, depending on how the job progresses. We do not send recurring promotional campaigns unless you separately agree.
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier’s standard messaging and data charges apply to texts we send or you send to us.
Reply STOP to opt out of further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email support@geektaskers.com. Opting out of texts does not cancel a booked delivery; we may still email you or call if we cannot reach you by SMS.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who help us operate (payment processing, maps, email/SMS delivery, hosting). They may only use it to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention
We keep booking and customer records as long as needed for operations, taxes, disputes, and legal requirements, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
Email support@geektaskers.com to review or update your contact information, or to ask us to delete data we are not required to keep. See our Terms of Service for booking rules.
